EQUESTRIAN FACILITIES

Our Grounds consist of two separate areas or Polo Fields, Polo 1 and Polo 2, and The Hitching Rail. Each area has toilet and camping facilities, and wash bays. Our stabling facility offers a total of 129 covered yards, 36 uncovered yards and 35 portable yards.

POLO 1

This polo field is the closest to the Resort Facilities. It is fenced, has plenty of parking space, a toilet block with showers, and some powered campsites.

The stabling complex can accommodate 29 horses, and each stable has automatic waterers. We also offer 36 uncovered yards set along side the polo field, 100 metres from the main complex

POLO 2

This area comprises the Polo Field, which just as Polo 1 can be used for any equestrian activity, the Rodeo Arena, and the Cross Country Course, which caters for all grades from Preliminary to Open Intermediate. There is no stabling on site, although a limited number of portable uncovered yards can be erected if the need arises. A toilet block exists (without showers), and some powered campsites.

THE HITCHING RAIL

This is the main stabling complex, with 100 spacious covered yards, 38 of which have feed mangers, and automatic waterers. There are two wash bays, a 30m Round Yard, and a toilet block and shower.

EQUIPMENT

We have several mobile Shaded Grandstands available for group events, which can be moved on request prior to the event.

Good quality Showjumping equipment and rope Dressage Arenas can be hired from ‘The Kooralbyn Equestrian Group (K.E.G.)’ and ‘The Kooralbyn Horse & Pony Club’.
